GLR and the Bike Lane's collaborative gravel ride to Shannon, IL from Oregon on some of the nicest gravel to be found.  This is the smaller cousin of the Chonkey Kong Country 200k.  We ride to Shannon and then loop back on a shorter loop.  Meet up at the parking lot of the Paddlewheel in and try your hand at some gravel.  This is not a RUSA event.  There are no controls or time limits, just lots of fun.  On ride support and SAG will be available.  Membership in GLR is included when you register as a guest at a big discount and you will get access to our premium RWGPS club account.

1. BYOS (Bring your own Start) - You may start at any time you like from 6:00 AM on Saturday until 10:00 AM on Saturday.  You must bring lights and reflective gear.
2. Self Reporting for you finish - There are NO controls on this ride.  Instead, you can start from ANY point on the route and finish at the same place.  On your confirmation email, there will be a link for uploading an RWGPS or Strava URL (for Strava, your ride must be public).  You must upload this within 24 hours of the finish and text the organizer on your finish.
3. You may ride as much of the route as you like.  If you don't finish the entire route, you may abandon and upload your GPS URL for partial credit.
4. Social Distancing and masks worn indoors (if you stop) are MANDATORY.  While riding in pairs is fine, large groups are prohibited.

There will be a pre-ride zoom meeting the night before.  This is mandatory for all riders so that we can go over last minute information and safety.
