The third in our Midwest III Crown Double Century series. This is another great ride out of Oregon, Illinois. It consists of a loop followed by 2 smaller loops giving you time (and temptation) to call it quits a bit early. The initial loop heads north to Winnebago before crossing the Rock River. We then spend a few miles on the Long Prairie Trail and head back to Oregon. Next we. head into the hills for a quick 20 mile loop up to Leaf River before heading south to Dixon and returning for the finish.
This is a great ride. - about 7,000 ft of climbing so its no slouch, but not quite as beefy as the Blackhawk!
