This is a new route out of the Paddlewheel Inn in Oregon, IL. Call early for reservations, camping is available across the river but there are few nearby hotels and it is Labor Day weekend. The new route will be far less hilly than the Bleeding 300k but will still have some kick to it so be prepared.
This route is similar to the first 400k of the 600k Dancing Jellyfish, but turns around in Sterling instead of Mt Carroll. The hilliest section is the first section up to Monroe, Wisconsin. Non-stop rollers! The final 100k is a little flatter but still rolls into Sterling and back again.
This is a socially distanced ride, you may start at any time from 2 hours before until 2 hours after the stated start time and at any point on the course you like. You will be sent an email with directions for recording your finish time and your GPS URL. We urge you to wear masks inside any establishment in accordance with local laws.
