Park on the east side of the lot just south of the taproom against the chain link fence OR in the shopping center next door.
This is a loop route from Evanston to Bull Valley on rolling roads. We are taking advantage of many paved bike trails for safety and because they are nice! Parking can be difficult in this area but there are a large number of businesses from Starbucks to Pizza plus the finish at Temperence Beer. Some big adjustments for safety and scenery in 2024!
There will be a no-drop group at the back and we will have SAG available (though you can also pick up Metra in Crystal Lake). All times are suggested to keep to about a 10 mph pace. You can ride at whatever pace you like.
This is an urban ride. Though you may be able to finish the route before sundown, our advice is to bring lights and reflective gear just in case you find yourself out after dark.
At the finish, we will have a social gathering to welcome the new ride year. Buy your own beverage but the club will pick up the pizza!

It was a great course. Quiet roads and bike paths all with great surfaces. The weather really cooperated considering it was mid April.
Nice course. Thankful for the tailwind the last 40 miles, or so.

I had a great time and would do another one. The route was good, with nice low-traffic (for me) streets.
